Heart of the Highland Wolf by Terry Spear
My rating: ★★★½
The Good
1. Ms. Spear's writing and mythology. She has an interesting take on werewolves that always makes for fun reading.
2. The story is rather engaging (in parts).
3. The hero and his brothers are quite nice men and werewolves, too.
The Bad
1. The heroine. Julia is likable only in small doses. Read about her for too long and she becomes entitled, bitchy and inconsiderate. In short doses she can be thought of as spunky and funny.
2. The plot can be slow at times.
3. The conflict between Ian and Basil was meh at best. not too interesting.
It was a good read, although it wasn't the best I've read from Ms. Spear. Not bad at all for a kindle freebie.
